Getting to Know Us Fun Stuff
Along with classic
cars, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, living only a
short view from "Lake Havasu" and a few blocks
from the Mohave Desert. My off time is limited but when there
is, I enjoy various off-roading, Fat-Tire mountain biking, boating
and/or tinkering with another vintage performance boat
preservation project at our Spuds Motorsports Garage/Shop.

1986 Cheyenne 12ft
Dropped Keel Mini-Speedboat 40hp Mariner 2-Cycle
Outboard: This "limited-production all original
low-hour survivor" was discovered within a California
vintage motorcycle collection. The trailer had been sold many
years ago and displayed attached to a barn-wood mini dock
display.
We have restored/refitted a period correct trailer and are
currently in the re-rigging stage. This fun preservation
is expected to be completed during the Spring of 2026,

1981 Nordic Viking 20ft
Jet-Boat Chevy 454 Berkley Pump: I located this all
original upholstery & gel-coat project
in Lake Havasu City, neglected under a shaded cover,
dry heat weathered, pack-rat chewed wiring/rubber and had not
been run in more than 20 years. It took about about 6 months to
perform a complete mechanical once-over, cosmetic
preservation & later enjoyed for many years...
1977 Sleekcraft Kauai
Jet-Boat 19ft 460 Ford Berkley JE Pump: While in
Boise, I located this
all original gel-coat/upholstery
project in Seattle, performed a complete mechanical
once-over, cosmetic preservation and enjoyed it for
many years at Idaho/Arizona lakes. Sold to Texas...
1969
16' Flat Bottom "Ribbon Striped Mahogany" with 1977
Mercury 1500XS: This "One of a Kind" speed boat
project received a complete ribbon-stripe Mahoghany
re-veneer, upholstery and 1500XS re-power restoration and
later sold to Italy.
