You are looking at a well documented and absolutely
"Honest Northwest Survivor" that has been resting in the
same owners hands for about 19 years. Babied and
Meticulously cared for with a no excuses presence! The
interior seating, trim surfaces & door panels are
believed to be original while the exterior was
refinished just prior to the current owners possession.
The soft top is new and the rack has been rebuilt while
the hardtop is a stunning original. Overall cosmetically
excellent with well deserved patina, not perfect and not
over done...
The rare "Factory" original 283 270Hp solid lifter V8
engine has been professionally rebuilt to factory
specifications. The factory equipped 4 speed manual
transmission and clutch operates perfectly but does not
carry matching numbers. For your own reference and
research, the rest of the production numbers/date codes
are documented and noted in the photo details section.
Fun Facts: This baby has been trailered and shown more
than once at the annual Arizona "Route 66 - Fun Run
Weekend" and as a result, her likeness was chosen to be
the inspiration for the sign and business cards for "Mr
D'z Route 66 Diner" in Kingman Arizona. Over the years
she has been enjoyed and shown quite a bit the owners,
consequently she has won many awards. (See Below Photos) |
