Uniquely rare and special on it's own, this Chevrolet Cameo is a very special "Suburbanite". Chevy Cameo pick-ups were only available for 4 years (1955-1958 10,321 units total), 1956 production was limited to only 1,452 units and only a portion of those were built with "V" factory V8 and even fewer were produced with a factory "Hydromatic" like this one. On top of that, this wonderfully rock solid specimen also sports prior Sacramento, California history and an Oakland, California assembly point...

Free and Clear Private Party Titled in California. Brought to the So Cal area several years ago from the Sacramento area where it apparently spent most of it's life. An obvious solid body off restoration of unknown age. The hood mascot, other body side ornaments and door handles etc appear as original (not reproductions) with expected light patina, re-chromed bumpers, the body is solid and the panels are very straight, the paint is of good to above average quality with no excuses for it's wonderful presence. The interior is newer reproduction and the carpet has been upgraded in Corvette style square weave material. Updated in-dash radio with no modified surface mounting (original radio included). Everything appears in working condition (even the the flashing E-brake warning) and it drives great, just like a 1956 did/should. Steering wheel slightly off center and steers/drives excellent. Engine starts instantly and runs great without any known issues. Newer correct Bias Ply Wide Whitewall Tires (also included Radial Wide Whites). Simply a wonderfully solid California built specimen with nice options. Light detail & Enjoy!
